Moving On Without Mariota, Oregon Football Tickets Still Generating Much Interest

The Oregon Ducks could have a very interesting 2015 college football season ahead of them. On one hand, a step back could be acceptable with star quarterback Marcus Mariota bolting for the NFL. On the other, there is unfinished business to deal with after losing last year’s national title game to the Ohio State Buckeyes.

While replacing Mariota is the first huge task, the Ducks still boast largely the same roster that got them all the way to the first ever College Football Playoff National Championship game. If they can just answer questions under center, they could still get back to where they were a season ago. That type of upside has Oregon Ducks tickets carrying serious value heading into 2015, and several huge regular season clashes could make for must-see action over the course of the campaign. It’s also why DISH Sports Packages, which feature the highly-acclaimed Pac-12 Network, can be very beneficial for fans who can’t make it to these games, so that they can still catch all the action involving high-powered Oregon and the rest of the conference.

To gauge said value of tickets, let’s break down the cheapest and priciest Ducks games on the schedule for 2015:

Cheapest – 9/19/2015 VS. Georgia State Panthers at Autzen Stadium | Avg: $50.89 | Get-in: $9

Oregon’s third game of the year and second at Autzen Stadium comes against the Georgia State Panthers, who have only been an active FBS team since 2010. The Panthers may come out hungry in this game, as they enter this year with their first chance at FBS postseason play. That being said, Ducks fans have to be loving this early-season matchup, as Georgia State is far from a threat with just two total wins in the last three seasons (11 total since 2010). This should serve as a nice tune-up game for an offense probably still trying to find itself, while fans of either side get a sweet deal at just $50.89 on average. The $9 get-in price for the cheap seats, meanwhile, is beyond a bargain, with the opportunity of seeing a title contender for close to nothing.

Most Expensive – 9/12/2015 @ Michigan State Spartans at Spartan Stadium | Avg: $244.55 | Get-in: $127

Oregon used a huge win over the Spartans to fuel their magical 2014 run, and it’s entirely possible they could do it again in 2015. Michigan State is no slouch, of course, which is a good reason why Ducks and Spartans tickets are a hefty $244.55 on average for this massive week two battle. This game also serves as Michigan State’s home opener, which naturally further increases the value for Spartans fans. It’s a shame two potential title contenders meet up this early in the year, but fans taking this one in live surely won’t complain. Michigan State’s explosive offense, led by Connor Cook, could be problematic for Oregon, while the Ducks will be hard-pressed to match them with their own offense. Fans can probably expect a high-scoring battle and with this one possibly going down to the wire, it could make for one of the more entertaining games all season.
