Muir is one class shy of receiving a criminal justice degree from Kent State University. He still has an interest in working with youngsters in his hometown of Washington, D.C., when his NFL career is over.
In some fashion, though, cooking always will remain on Muir’s front burner.
He is one of Lloyd and Novia Muir’s nine children. Dad knew his way around the kitchen. Mom cooked. The six daughters pitched in.
As Muir grew up, cooking “was just there. Seeing my parents do it all the time, and my sisters, it just came onto me.”
