Our Prospect Correspondent, Alex Muscat, spent a day at the Windsor Spitfires training camp recently. Alex caught up with the Bolts 2012 first round draft pick, defenseman Slater Koekkoek and asked the 19 year old some on and off the ice questions.
Really Slater? David Beckham?
Alex tells us that Koekkoek is a dynamic skater that quarterbacks the power play like an NHL veteran.
“He’s a tremendous puck moving defenseman with a high level of skating ability that sets him apart from others,” says Muscat.
