“I told Tony [Allen] that today he was the MVP of this practice,” coach Doc Rivers said yesterday. “Today he really allowed the offense to come to him.

“His confidence has always been up and down, but it’s clearly getting better. He was scared last year after the surgery, and you can see now that he’s got that explosiveness back.

“Now we need him to finish, but he’s getting there.”

Good news.  Also good news:  Patrick O'Bryant looks good so far.  Also in that link… the Celtics REALLY like Chipotle Chicken Sandwiches from Panera.  Really.  Just ask the rookie errand boys.   Also out there… Newport really love their Celtics.  And a great story about Doc Rivers and family… helping a kid in need.  And… at least something is changing about NBA officiating.
