MWAHdcast – Episode 4: Strep Throat Edition

president

This podcast marches on. Through injury and sickness, we will continue. The same can’t really be said about Jered Weaver, but we can get to that later. MJ got enough over strep throat that we were able to sit down and hang out on the internet last night to chit chat about the Angels and things involving the Angels. We did not talk about Max Scherzer, therefore his wife owes us $5.

In this week’s episode, we covered the following wonderful news:

  • The state of the Angels: Mediocrity for everybody!
  • Jered Weaver’s DL trip: Hip inflammation is apparently a thing. Or it is just an excuse to give Weaver a couple of weeks off so the Angels can get a closer look at a minor leaguer. Unless it is Drew Rucinski. They don’t need a closer look at him.
  • Albert Pujols is back-ish: In case you missed it, Albert Pujols is playing, like, really well.
  • Mike Trout‘s effect on Kole Calhoun: Calhoun is little, kind of. Mike Trout is like his protective big brother. Makes sense that Trout would protect him in the lineup.
  • The Good the Bad and the Ugly – 2012 free agent pitchers: This could lead to tears.
