In the fall of 1985 I took a university class from one of those campus character professors. You know the type who says radical things and bates the keeners into pre-set logical traps. For example a big controversy was that Sikh members of the mounted police wanted to wear turbans while on the job and not the regulation uniform for religious reasons. He asked the class if we thought all police officers should wear the same uniform and of course we agreed, then he asked if we should respect people
