Nats’ GM Mike Rizzo fined

Today, Major League Baseball has fined Washington Nationals GM Mike Rizzo for his comments about Phillies pitcher Cole Hamels. Rizzo had some pretty harsh comments to say about Hamels, which I will not repeat, but Rizzo’s comments was about Hamels beaning the Nationals 19 year old outfield phenom Bryce Harper and in Cole Hamels defense, he did it to welcome him to the big leagues. Obviously Mike Rizzo felt a certain type way and wanted to voice his opinion. There has been no word yet on how much the fine is.
