Not only are the Navy Midshipmen going to play the part in 2014, but they’re going to look good while doing it.

Navy athletics’ official Twitter account unveiled the new uniforms for the upcoming season the other day, and they’re pretty slick:

Under Armour did an incredible job with these bad boys, but what really sets them apart is the “Marine Pride” logo on the left side of the pants – parallel with UA’s logo – and the “Don’t Give Up the Ship” Navy battle cry featured at the bottom of the jersey. Even the stripes have a significant meaning, as they represent the six United States naval fleets.

If there were a College Football Playoff for uniform sets, Navy would definitely be vying for a spot.

The Midshipmen, who join the American Athletic Conference in 2015, open at home against Ohio State on August 30.
