As we learned the other day, the Celtics will open their 2012-13 campaign on Tuesday, 10/30 in Miami. The game will be televised on TNT. Tonight, the NBA announced the rest of the games for the 2012-13 season. The Celtics-Heat match-up at 8pm on Oct. 30th will be sandwiched between Wizards-Cavs at 7pm EST and then Mavs-Lakers at 10:30pm EST.
On Christmas Day, the Celtics travel to Brooklyn to face the Nets at 12pm. The other Christmas Day games feature the Knicks & Lakers at 3pm, Thunder vs Heat at 5:30pm, Rockets-Bulls at 8pm and wraps-up with Nuggets-Clippers at 10:30pm. (all times Eastern)
The Celtics will face their arch rivals, the L.A. Lakers, in Boston on February 7, and travel to La-La Land on February 20th.
The other game that every Celtics fan is anticipating is of course Ray Allen’s return to Boston. That will happen on Sunday, January 27th. I for one will definitely be there no matter what. Should be a wild night at TD Garden.
Other games of note: The all-important Celtics home opener is on Friday, Nov. 2nd against the Milwaukee Bucks, Jason Terry returns to Dallas as the Celtics face the Mavs on March 22nd, and Big Perk and OKC come to town on Nov. 23rd.
