All the stars are aligned for a great regular season opener as the Boston Celtics visit the American Airlines Arena to play the 2011-2012 defending NBA champion Miami Heat tomorrow at 8 p.m. eastern on TNT.
Tension will certainly be in the air due to Ray Allen’s departure from the Celtics to the Heat, as well as, the bitter taste the ‘green gang’ will be feeling during championship ring night in Miami for LeBron James and co.
Not to mention that the Celtics know they let a legitimate chance to beat the eventual NBA champions in last year’s Eastern Conference Finals slip right through their fingers.
Also, pay attention to how Allen is greeted by his former teammates before tip-off, especially Kevin Garnett, because it will set the tone for the rest of the night.
Buckle up your seat belts everyone, or as Terrell Owens would say “get your popcorn ready” because it should be a good one.
