NBA TV and TNT Ramp Up Playoff Schedule

TNT is in the midst of a few days off covering the NBA Playoffs, but it gets back in action on Sunday and carries some big games. NBA TV also has pre and postgame coverage as well. Here’s what’s on tap for both channels.

Second Round Coverage of the NBA Playoffs Continues on TNT and NBA TV
TNT’s coverage of the second round of the NBA Playoffs continues Sunday, May 9 with NBA Tip-Off at 7:30 p.m. (ET)Ernie Johnson (host), Charles Barkley (analyst) and Kenny Smith (analyst) will preview the night’s action. The pre-game show will be followed by exclusive coverage of Tim Duncan and the San Antonio Spurs hosting Steve Nash and the Phoenix Suns at 8 p.m. (ET) in Game #4 of their best-of-seven second round series. Kevin Harlan (play-by-play), Doug Collins (analyst) and Marty Snider (reporter) will call the game. The night will conclude with the Emmy® award-winning studio show Inside the NBA with Johnson, Barkley and Smith.
The NBA action continues on Monday, May 10 with TNT airing an exclusive playoff doubleheader with Dwight Howard and the Orlando Magic taking on Joe Johnson and the Atlanta Hawks at 8 p.m. (ET) in Game #4 of their series.  Matt Devlin (play-by-play), Kevin McHale (analyst) and Cheryl Miller (reporter) will call the game. The second game of the doubleheader will see Deron Williams and the Utah Jazz hosting Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers at 10:30 p.m. (ET) for Game #4 of the series.  Sitting courtside will be Marv Albert (play-by-play), Reggie Miller (analyst) and Craig Sager (reporter). To finish the evening’s coverage, Johnson (host), Barkley, and Smith (analyst) will break down the action on Inside the NBA.
NBA TV will also continue to provide extensive coverage of the NBA Playoffs beginning tonight, May 6 with host Matt Winer and analysts Steve Smith and Chris Webber recapping the night’s action beginning at 10:30 p.m. (ET). The network will continue to air highlights, updates and live press conferences throughout the duration of the NBA Playoffs.
