Thanks to his late-game heroics some 26 years ago, Keith Smart will always have a place in basketball history. He still remembers the game-winner, better known as “The Shot”, that won his Indiana Hoosiers the 1987 NCAA Championship like it was yesterday. More than two decades later, Smart can recall the play enough to walk through it step-by-step, which he demonstrated for media following Kings’ practice Wednesday afternoon.
