New England Patriots: WR Danny Amendola Out 2-6 weeks

According to NFL Network, Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola will be out 2 to 6 weeks. The receiver was struggling with a groin injury heading into the game in Week 1 against the Buffalo Bills, an injury that lingered since the third preseason game. Amendola missed Thursday night game against New York Jets and it seems that he won’t play next week as well.

If you are a Patriots fan, you have to hope Julian Edelman can carry the load for the Pats, because it seems that he is the only receiver on the team who is on the same page with Tom Brady.

In Week 1, Amendola had a game high 10 catches for over 100 yards and had three crucial third down catches in Patriots’ last drive that ended with game-winning field goal.

Danny Amendola is Patriots’ best receiver and they really need him now since all those rookie WR’s that New England has looked in first two weeks. Yes, they won both games, but look who they played against.

Can they win a game by scoring 13 points against the Broncos?

No way. Hurry up Danny Amendola, get well. You too Rob Gronkowski, the offense is not the same without you.
