Neal, Spurs buzz Hornets in simulated win

photo: freshnba.comWith the NBA lockout raging on and the rest of the season on the brink of being axed, it has come down to living in an alternate reality.

Our friends at AccuScore simulated a game between the San Antonio Spurs and New Orleans Hornets, and the Spurs continue to win as they defeated the Hornets.

Here is how the game went down:

San Antonio Spurs 108, New Orleans Hornets 91
Chris Paul had 27 points and 10 assists, but that was really the only bright spot for New Orleans as San Antonio controlled the action throughout.  Shooter Gary Neal had quite a night hitting 8 threes and scoring 25 points.  Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili each chipped in with 18 points.

Yes Spurs fans, it has come down to this. So soak it in, this may be as good as it’s going to get until the NBA season resumes.
