WFAN has announced that Chris “Mad Dog” Russo has left the station. Russo had been the co-host of WFAN’s successful afternoon drive show with Mike Francesa since 1989. Newsday’s Neil Best is on top of the story.
On the same day as Russo leaves, WFAN announces that Francesa has signed a new contract and will host the show solo for the time being.
