Netlinked 2/18/13: Brook Lopez makes All-Star debut, Celtics sign ex-Net Terrence Williams
Brook made a relatively ineffective All-Star debut appearance last night in the East's loss to the West in Houston

As the Eastern Conference All-Stars were edged by those of the West last night in Houston by a score of 143-138, the Brooklyn Nets' only representative–Brook Lopez–played a pretty minor role, garnering just 11 minutes of playing time and scoring only three points (all on free throws). Playing the second-least amount of time on the East squad (behind Kevin Garnett), Brook also grabbed five boards to boot and even had a couple of assists. Clearly, the up-tempo style of the All-Star Game isn't very conducive to Lopez' personal style. However, still a decently successful maiden All-Star Game for big Brook.

In non-All-Star news, former Nets draft pick out of Louisville–Terrence Williams–is likely going to sign a 10-day deal with the Boston Celtics. The Celtics will be Terrence's fourth NBA team in as many seasons, and he comes to Boston after a short-lived stint with the Guangdong Southern Tigers of China.
