says the new logo pays "homage" to the franchise’s original logo
because the moon is depicted as a basketball. The team’s main logo,
introduced in 1996, also has been tweaked, and newly designed uniforms
will be unveiled in August, two months before the Wolves open their
20th season. "I think it’s going to be a big wow," team President Chris
Wright said of the new unis.
