The UC Bearcats moved to 6-3 with a dominating win over Wright State, 78-58. The Bearcats used hot 3 point shooting in a 4 guard lineup to jump out 17-2 and never looked back. The Bearcats went 3 heavy, 32 attempts, but made 14 of them. Sean Kilpatrick was 7-15 from the field, 6-12 from deep, for 20 points. It was his second 20 point game of the season. He’s owned Wright State the last 2 years, 26 and 20. JaQuon Parker played great. He had 5 early rebounds, finishing with 6. He had 14 points. Cash added 12-8 assists and 4 boards. Justin Jackson bounced back very well with 11 points and 8 rebounds. Jackson did foul out for the 4th time this year. Jermaine Sanders showed off his outside shot, drilling 3 triples.
The smaller Bearcats dominated the boards 29-19, and had 10 offensive boards. UC had 14 assistst to 12 turnovers, which is great to see. The Bearcats scored a season high in points. The offense looked solid and never really fell in the drought hole. The guys played with heart and passion. It showed big time.
