Mitch Kupchak, general manager of the Los Angeles Lakers is en route to Cleveland to meet with Paul in the hopes of luring him to the West Coast, per ESPN Los Angeles’ Ramona Shelburne.
Luis Suarez Set for £63 Million Move to F.C. Barcelona? According to NBC Pro Soccer Talk.com, Livelpool and Urgugay striker, Luis Suarez is set to move from Anfield to Nou Camp for a reported £63 million pounds($137 million US) . Suarez, 27, has been the subject of controversy after allegedly biting an Italian defender, Giorgi Chiellini during Italy’s 1-0 loss in the 2014 FIFA World Cup, received a four-month from all competitions and will likely miss the first nine matches of La Liga play. Named the 2014 PFA Pro Football Player Of The Year, Suarez scored 31 goals for the Reds, and helped Liverpool secure a Champions League slot.
Barack Obama Voted Worst President Since World War II, Reagan the Best: According to a Quinnipiac poll released on Wednesday, 33 percent of voters named Barack Obama the worst president since 1945. Obama’s predecessor, George W. Bush came in second at 28 percent and Richard Nixon third with 13 percent. Oft-maligned former President Jimmy Carter received eight percent.
No other president received more than three percent.
Obama, whose approval rating seems to be dropping by the day, has been ham-strung by Republican obstructionism, a heavily flawed—and universally unpopular—health care law, the Affordable Care Act(also known as ObamaCare) questions about the 2012 attack and deaths of four Americans at the U.S. Embassy located in Benghazi, Libya and lack of assertiveness aboard, most notably Russia’s recent annexation of Crimea in the Ukraine, were all factors in Obama earning the dubious honor.
Former President Ronald Reagan would be named the best president in receiving 35 percent, followed by Bill Clinton at 18 percent, John F. Kennedy with 15 percent and Obama coming in fourth at eight percent.
All other presidents received five percent or less.
