As I have said all year, I dont believe the Saints or the Falcons are that good this year compared to last. Today that was proven, as the St. Louis Rams have UPSET the Saints 31-21. It was 24-0 at one point in the game, and 7 of the Saints points were on a defensive score.
In other NFC South news, the Carolina Panthers lost to Minnesota when Olindo Mare missed a short FG attempt that would have tied the game. The Vikings won 24-21.
So Tampa Bay is now 1/2 game out of first place with a rematch against New Orleans next Sunday. If the Bucs win, they will be half a game UP on the Saints, so the game next week IS A BATTLE FOR SOLE POSSESSION OF FIRST PLACE IN THE NFC SOUTH!
