Well even before free agency begins on 4:00 pm ET on Tuesday; let the rumors begin flying of teams going after certain players. With the tampering window opening this past Saturday at noon, the rumors of players landing in certain places began.
In terms of the Philadelphia Eagles, we have heard that they are interested in Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Michael Johnson, Green Bay Packers linebacker Mike Neal, and Carolina Panthers safety Mike Mitchell for example. But tonight, there is a new rumor out circulating that the Eagles are going to pursue Tampa Bay Buccaneers cornerback Darrelle Revis.
If you didn’t hear earlier tonight, ESPN’s Adam Schefter tweeted that the Buccaneers are expected to release Revis by 4:00 pm Wednesday according to league sources.
Short of a trade in the next two days, the Buccaneers are expected to release CB Darrelle Revis by 4 p.m. Wednesday, per league sources.

Now we are hearing more news about Revis, this time from Bart Hubbuch of the New York Post.
Former Jets exec @AriNissim says he hears the Eagles, Raiders, Browns and Jets are all going to pursue Darrelle Revis.

This big news and not from any old source either and let’s face it, the Eagles could use more cornerback help. Here is what Ari Nissim had to say on Twitter.
Revis early line. Highest Offer wins. (Other teams I’ve heard are Philly, Raiders, Browns, and Obviously Rex and the Jets) Rex loves him.

Obviously, there seems to be some kind of traction happening with the Revis camp. We will how this develop as free agency opens up at 4:00 pm ET on Tuesday.
