NFL Games Grab Top Four TV Shows of the Week

I have run out of things to say about the monster TV ratings for the NFL this season. We’re headed towards another ratings record for the NFL postseason and Super Bowl unless the Big Game is a total stinker, but it’ll still be around a 40 rating and 60 share. That’s where we’re going. So here’s the latest release from the NFL touting the ratings of Week 12’s games.

Cowboys-Giants on FOX Most Watched

NFL Games 10 Most-Watched & 18 of Top 20 Sporting Events since Super Bowl

NFL Tops Ratings in 27 Local Markets

Football was again a TV winner accounting for the four most-watched shows on television last week (Nov. 30-Dec. 6).

The FOX doubleheader game (mostly Cowboys-Giants) topped the charts with 27.8 million viewers and ranks as the third most-watched NFL telecast of the season. Patriots-Saints on ESPN last Monday night (Nov. 30) ranked second with 21.4 million viewers and was followed by the Vikings-Cardinals on NBC with 20.9 million viewers and the SEC Championship Game (Alabama-Florida) on CBS with 18.0 million viewers.

NFL games account for the top 10 and 18 of the top 20 most-watched sporting events since Super Bowl XLIII.
