It means that exhibition games will be played next month. Here’s the NFL Network programming schedule through next month including Arena League and CFL action.

Fran Charles calls the play-by-play with NFL Network analyst Michael Lombardi.
The Shock (12-2) extended their win streak to 10 games with last week’s 48-42 victory over Iowa. Shock QB Kyle Rowley recently earned AFL Offensive Player of the Week honors throwing for 299 yards and six TDs vs. Iowa. With two games remaining on the Shock’s schedule, Rowley has already set a single-season franchise record for touchdown passes with 89 on the season.
The road trip to Spokane is Chicago’s last game of the season and the Rush will be without QB Russ Michna, who was put on IR last week. Chicago remains atop the Midwest region in the National Conference standings with a record of 10-5, while the Shock lead the West region in the National Conference standings.
Edmonton Battles Winnipeg in CFL Game Saturday at 6:30 PM ET
This weekend’s CFL matchup between the Edmonton Eskimos and Winnipeg Blue Bombers airs live at 6:30 PM ET Saturday.

The Eskimos on the brink of their first victory of the season, coming off of a narrow loss to the league-leading Roughriders last week. Edmonton outscored Saskatchewan 14-10 in the first half before falling behind in the fourth quarter and receiver Fred Stamps continues to lead the league with in receptions, tallying 24 catches for 299 yards this season.
The Blue Bombers are also boosted on offense with a dynamic receiving corp with Terrence Edwards and Terence Jeffers-Harris ranking 1 and 2 in the CFL in yards after catch, respectively. Saturday’s match will also feature a change at quarterback for Winnipeg, as Steven Jyles gets his first start in place of veteran QB Buck Pierce.
