Today, Tight End Rob Gronkowski and the New England Patriots came to a contract agreement in which both sides were very happy. Gronkowski agreed to a six year, $54 million contract extension making him the highest paid TE in NFL History. In this deal, $18.17 million is guaranteed and Gronkowski deserves every bit of it. Gronkowski was one of the Patriots’ best playmakers this past season as he had 90 receptions for 1,327 receiving yards, and 17 touchdowns.
