Ok, we started 3-0 for the week. Let’s try to keep the momentum going here.
New Orleans at Carolina – Fox, 1 p.m.
David Carr is starting for the Panthers. Enough said. Saints win, 21-3.
Washington at Tampa Bay – Fox, 1 p.m.
The Redskins played the Cowboys tough. The Bucs’ defense is improved. I like the Pirates of Pewter in this one, 26-23.
Minnesota at New York Giants – Fox, 1 p.m.
Adrian Peterson is out again for the Vikes. The Giants won last week in Detroit. They’ll defeat another NFC North opponent this week, 21-7.
Seattle at St. Louis – Fox, 1 p.m.
I’m crazy. I’m going with the Rams to win their third game in a row. Seattle did beat the Bears last Sunday at home, but on the road, they’re a different team. Take the Rams, 9-0.
Tennessee at Cincinnati – CBS, 1 p.m.
Go with the Titans over a horrible defensive team, 26-13.
Buffalo at Jacksonville – CBS, 1 p.m.
I like the Jags to take this one, 21-17.
Oakland at Kansas City – CBS, 1 p.m.
Why the NFL scheduled a game at Arrowhead Stadium after the Missouri-Kanas game the day before is beyond me. The field is going to be a mess. The Chiefs don’t have a running back now that Priest Holmes has retired. Take the Raiders to get a rare win, 13-3.
Houston at Cleveland – CBS, 1 p.m.
Browns all the way, 31-16.
San Francisco at Arizona – Fox, 4:05 p.m.
The 49ers are a bad football team. The Cards win, 24-14.
Baltimore at San Diego – CBS, 4:15 p.m.
The Chargers get well against the Ravens, 28-7.
Denver at Chicago – CBS, 4:15 p.m.
Denver wins, 23-20.
Philadelphia at New England – NBC, 8:15 p.m.
You’re kidding, right? Pats 23-24 point favorites depending on the Las Vegas bookie. They’ll cover, 48-20.
Miami at Pittsburgh – ESPN, 8:30 p.m., Monday
Miami will probably win one of these days, but not after the Steelers were embarrassed by the Jets. Pittsburgh keeps the Dolphins winless, 29-0.
