1. Baker Mayfield
Baker Mayfield has been outside of the number one spot only one time this year. The following week, he quickly went back to his place. This week, Mayfield had the week off so there’s no way he could improve/regress during Week 11.
Like many of the guys above, Mayfield doesn’t have a dream scenario for a rookie quarterback. While he does have a stellar supporting cast in some areas, he’s still playing for a struggling Cleveland Browns team. But without Mayfield, this Cleveland team would be lost.
So far, the Browns are proving to everybody that they were one-hundred percent correct by picking Mayfield number one overall. There’s a chance that one of these other guys can improve and surpass him, but right now nobody has really come all that close to doing so.
