2. Sam Darnold

Finally, after waiting about roughly four weeks we have seen the same Sam Darnold from his rookie debut this past Sunday. The New York Jets manhandled the Denver Broncos at home, and Darnold was a standout.

It’s clear that the run game opened up a ton of opportunities for Darnold and the passing game. But that shouldn’t take away from Darnold’s impressive showing. He completed 10 passes, for 198-yards and three touchdowns.

Darnold was throwing what we like to call ‘dimes’ on Sunday. He didn’t have to do everything, which was good. But the fact that he was still able to be a standout during a game where his running back went for over 200-yards, that’s pretty impressive.
