1. Sam Darnold

It was another solid week by the New York Jets rookie quarterback, Sam Darnold. Last week, he flashed some of that week one magic with a dominating performance over the Denver Broncos. This week, he sharpened up his passing performance and had yet, another great week with a win over the Indianapolis Colts.

Darnold had a small stretch of just looking like an average quarterback with a ton of question marks around him. Now, it’s becoming apparent that he’s worth a first-round selection. There’s no doubt in my mind that he will struggle at times, but it should definitely be satisfying for the Jets to know that Darnold is showing some consistency.

On Sunday, he completed 80-percent of his passes for 280 yards and two touchdowns. Once again, the Jets lit up the scoreboard by putting up over 40 points. Their offense is clicking right now, and Darnold is finding his groove and looking like a very solid passer.
