1. Baker Mayfield
He’s back on top, right where he was drafted. Of course, Baker Mayfield works his way back into the number one spot this week despite yet, another overtime loss on the road against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Mayfield did everything that he could to try and lead the Browns to victory, but they couldn’t pull it off.
Mayfield completed 67-percent of his passes and threw two touchdowns. He also put on the jets, as he rushed the ball four times for 43 yards. One of those highlights runs going for 35 yards.
Once again, Mayfield showed the NFL why the Browns decided to take him with the first overall pick in the spring. Despite the Browns struggling to finish games with a victory, in no way can Mayfield be at fault. He’s the real deal and is clearly making a case for offensive rookie of the year.
