4. Josh Allen
Josh Allen hasn’t been able to play since week six due to an elbow injury that he suffered. Before going down, Allen wasn’t exactly doing much to prove that he was one-hundred percent going to be one of the top quarterbacks of the future, but he did serve the Bills well during his first stretch as a rookie.
We can see the difference that Allen makes on this team. When he’s out, there’s a battle between Nathan Peterman and Derek Anderson. Granted, we knew that both of these quarterbacks weren’t going to do much that’s positive, but at least we can see the massive drop off from Allen to those two.
Allen left the team with a 2-3 record. He had an opportunity to get them to 3-3, but he went down in the second half of the game against the Houston Texans, which went downhill after Peterman’s arrival. It will be interesting to see how Allen does in his return, but for now, we have to wait.
