2nd seed: New Orleans Saints (8-2)
Quarterback Drew Brees is playing at a high level and after winning a close game on Sunday versus the San Francisco 49ers, the Saints are showing toughness. The Saints are slightly holding on to the NFC South lead as the Carolina Panthers are closing in on them with a 7-3 record.
