Per the Boston Bruins:
Exactly what we predicted yesterday. Paille got 4 for his hit that concussed whatshisface; Marchand’s hit didn’t result in anything but an irritated Umberger. You know, other than a suspension.
This is probably the best thing for Marchand who had been in a bit of a rookie slump as of late. He’s also been taking dumb penalities lately. This mini-vacation will hopefully allow him to regain his focus and cool his jets.
