It’s official. Hockey is hot! Red hot! Ratings have come in and the fast overnights show that Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final reached its highest overnight rating in 36 years. Overall, the ratings are 5.8 with a 10 share. During the overtime period where the Chicago Blackhawks clinched their first Stanley Cup in 49 years, the rating increased to 8.0/14. Fantastic ratings. The highest local ratings were in Chicago and Philadelphia, naturally. Indianapolis was the highest rated non-traditional market, tying for 5th with Detroit.
