We here at MTB are getting more and more anxious for the start of the 2013 Badger football campaign and we can only imagine the same holds true for you the fellow Badger fanatic. Good thing we're here to get your fix in as we countdown to Aug. 31st and the season opener against UMass.
Since we're in countdown mode today we celebrate No. 52… or as we like to say, just Nick Hill to Badger football 2013!
Story So Far at Wisconsin:
– He is a redshirt senior and the only member of the Badger roster from Texas as he hails from Texarkana, TX.
– Has seen action in just two games in the Cardinal and White of Wisconsin, both games coming this past season against Illinois and Nebraska.
– Hill is majoring Human Ecology with emphasis on Consumer Affairs
History of No. 52 at Wisconsin:
Cory Raymer (C, 1991-1994): Raymer was one of the first in what's now become a long line of All-American offensive linemen at Wisconsin since Barry Alvarez came on board as head coach. Raymer earned consensus All-American honors in 1994. He was named 1st team All-Big Ten in 1993 and '94. Went on to be selected in the 2nd round of the 1995 NFL Draft and played 11 seasons in the NFL.
