About Nittany Lion’s Den

Nittany Lion’s Den launched in June 2011 with a mixed staff of Penn State fans, students and media in a unique joint venture. The site launched on the Bloguin network in order to bring unique Penn State coverage to the network of sports sites covering college and professional sports and more.

About Bloguin

Founded with the belief that blogs don’t have to have amateur designs, lack of functionality, inconsistent content quality, and underperforming advertising programs, Bloguin aims to give both bloggers and advertisers a best in class social media platform.

As the Internet continues to fragment into smaller niche audiences, Bloguin has recruited an elite and diverse team of existing bloggers who want to focus on producing top-notch content and not the nuisances of site maintenance, design, hosting, and advertising programs.

The response has been tremendous with over 175+ the Bloguin platform spanning an audience of over 900,000 monthly unique visitors. We’ve even had some of our writers land additional writing postions at the companies below.
