Nittany Lion’s Den on Google+

We’re on Twitter. We’re on Facebook. Now, we’re on Google+.

This week we officially started up our official Google+ page on the Internet’s newest social network. We hope you will add the site to your respective circles so you can get the latest Nittany Lion’s Den content and commentary in your Google+ streams, and we hope you will feel inclined to hit the +1 button on our links and share it with your friends, family and more.

While this will generally serve as another social networking outlet to share our content, what will separate this Google+ page form our Facebook page will be the ability to connect with you through the hangouts feature. Hangouts are live video chats between Google+ users and we intend to make them a somewhat regular feature on the site. We will iron out a set schedule soon but for now we’ll get the ball rolling with our first try at this feature.

Our first official Nittany Lion’s Den hangout will be Monday, December 12, 2011 at 3 p.m. (eastern). We will be chatting about Penn State football, looking forward to the TicketCity Bowl against Houston, the rest of the college football world and taking your questions. To be a part of this, be sure to add us to your circles so we can add you back.

In addition to being on Google+, we are looking in to adding +1 buttons to the site, to go along with the Twitter and Facebook buttons found on the top of every post on the site. Stay tuned.
