Getting prepared for Big Ten media day with Andy Coppens
With the media day circuit officially underway with the SEC in Alabama, we can begin to turn our eyes forward to Chicago. Chicago will once again serve as the host city for the Big Ten’s annual football media day, although with a few tweaks to the event this year. Penn State’s James Franklin will always be one worth following during media days, but this year he takes a bit of a back seat to the spotlight with Ohio State coming in as defending national champions with a handful of Heisman Trophy candidates and Jim Harbaugh making his Big Ten media day debut as head coach of the Wolverines.
Big Ten media day, and some of the storylines to follow not necessarily centering on Ohio State or Michigan, is the subject of this edition of the Nittany Lions Den Podcast. Andy Coppens from Madtown Badgers and Talking 10 checks in to offer his take on some of the stuff he will be paying close attention to in a few weeks when he stops in on Big Ten media days.
