Here is the NL Wild Card Standings up to date as all of Friday night’s games are now final. Phillies fans there is still a chance for the Phils to make the playoffs it’s really slim but when you see the standings, there is actually still some hope.
Remember the top two Wild Card teams from each league make the postseason and play each other in a one game playoff.
1. Atlanta Braves: 71-55
2. St. Louis Cardinals: 69-56
3. LA Dodgers: 68-58 (1.5 games behind)
4. Pittsburgh Pirates: 67-58 (2.0 games behind)
5. Arizona Diamondbacks: 64-62 (5.5 games behind)
6. Philadelphia Phillies: 59-67 (10.5 games behind)
It’s not over yet for none of these teams involved but it will all come down to the month of September.
Key stat: The St. Louis Cardinals in their last 10 games have a record of 7-3, while their division counterparts the Pittsburgh Pirates have a record of 3-7 in their last 10 games.
