Last year, everyone was in a fervor over expansion. Could there be a team in Las Vegas? Quebec built a new arena, might they have a team in their future? How about Seattle? Another team in Toronto? How about Kansas City? Well, here we are, a year later, with nothing to show for it. The Board of Governors didn’t advance the plan at the first day of their meeting. Perhaps they are instead waiting for Arizona to wither and die, or maybe seeing what will happen in Florida or Carolina. One way or another, it isn’t happening yet through expansion. Sorry, Kansas City.
