J.T. Snow has been designated for assignment to make room for tonight’s starting pitcher, Kyle Snyder, according to the Boston Globe. GM Theo Epstein has said to expect more roster changes in the next 24 hours, lending credence to the possibility that Kyle Snyder will be demoted after the game to make way for another reliever, hopefully Craig Hansen.
If Snow clears waivers, Epstein left the door open for his return to Boston.
