Florida State stayed put in both human polls Sunday after defeating Syracuse 45-21 on Saturday. The Seminoles remain 17th in the AP Poll and No. 15 in the Amway Coaches Poll.

FSU was one of three ACC schools ranked in this week’s polls. Clemson, who the Seminoles will visit on Saturday, remained third in the AP Poll and moved up a spot from sixth to fifth in the Coaches Poll. Duke and Pittsburgh each dropped out of the polls after losing to Miami and North Carolina respectively, but the Tar Heels moved into the top 25 at No. 21 in each poll.

Defending national champion Ohio State and Baylor held the top two spots in each of the two human polls. In the AP Poll, LSU and TCU were behind third-ranked Clemson. In the Coaches Poll, TCU was third, followed by LSU while Clemson rounded out the top 5.

The first College Football Playoff rankings will be released Tuesday night. FSU and Clemson will square off Saturday at 3:30 P.M. eastern time on ABC.
