No old hat

Kravitz says this cap is special

This isn’t a great team, at least as it’s now constituted. They still don’t have all their offensive weapons. They still don’t have a great offensive line. They still don’t have three-quarters of their starting secondary. They played again without linebacker Clint Session. But led by their stars, and supported by backups and midseason additions and street free agents, they brought it home again.

Another shirt. Another hat.

But not just another shirt or hat.

“When you think about the 2010 regular season, you’re going to have a little smile knowing we were able to win the division despite a lot of football adversity,” Peyton Manning said. “This wasn’t like most of our other seasons here lately.”

Pass Defense: C-

OK, this is what should keep Colts fans up at night as the postseason beckons: The secondary. And it’s not their fault, not when they’re down to their fourth safety and have nickel and dime backs starting at the corners and heaven-knows-whom backing them up. They’re hanging in the best they can, but I have serious questions how they’ll hold up against far more accomplished quarterbacks than Kerry Collins, Jason Campbell and David Garrard. Most of the game, the Titans maintained maximum pass protection, and still, Collins threw for 300 yards and had a 111.1 quarterback rating. The Colts would rather not blitz; they need to protect their secondary. Those blitzes, though, were huge late in the game.
