Noah Spence Is A Buckeye!

Noah Spence Is A Buckeye!
Latest Gift Under The Tree

Well, the Twelve Days Of Urban keeps giving, with former Penn State commitment Noah Spence becoming the latest member of the Ohio State class of 2012.

Spence, the top rated defensive end in the 2012 class, re-opened his recruiting following the tragic controversy in Happy Valley, and verballed to the Buckeyes following a visit this weekend. Initially, he had reported that he would be announcing his decision during the Under Armour All American game, but there were indications that he was a Buckeye lean even before this weekend’s trip to Columbus. He allegedly told Coach Meyer “Coach I’m done, love it here and I want to be a part of the Buckeye Nation”.

The top ranked defensive end in the country, he’s rated as one of the top ten players at any position by several scouting sources.  A 6′ 4″, 245 lb. end from Bishop McDermott High in Harrisburgh PA, Spence joins a defensive line recruiting class that already includes Adolphus Washington, Se’Von Pittman, and Tommy Schutt. He held offers from every major program in the country- Arkansas, Florida, Michigan, Southern Cal, Miami, Alabama, and LSU.

Video after the break.

Welcome to the Buckeye Family, Noah!
