Phillies top pitching prospect and #2 overall prospect Aaron Nola will make his MLB debut on Tuesday against the Rays in Philadelphia.
The 22 year old right hander was the Phillies first round pick in last year’s draft (7th overall). Nola is from Baton Rouge, Louisiana and attended LSU. He had a 10-4 record with a 2.39 ERA in 18 starts between Reading and Lehigh Valley this season.
Nola’s call up could mean Hamels is being traded, but it is time for Aaron to get his feet wet in the big leagues.
