Welcome to Undercard Superstar’s guide to gambling, where you can get po’ in one night if you play your cards right! As your resident financial guide, it is my responsibility to make sure lose enough money to ensure that you don’t put up a child as collateral for a California Chrome loss.. It is also my duty to inform you that Undercard Superstar and its partners are not responsible for your loss of money, pride, respect from your children and/or respective other, or any other valuables.

Today, we look at UFC Fight Night: Henderson vs. Khabilov. Believe it or not, this is actually a decent fight card. That said, is there any value in the books for this Albuquerque card?

Let’s all prepare for an amen and find out.

All lines provided by Bovada. Lines subject to change depending on the time of writing.

Undercard Values:

  • Patrick Cummins: -325 vs. Roger Narvaez: +250
  • Jon Tuck: -155 vs. Jake Lindsey: +125
  • Scott Jorgensen: -230 vs. Danny Martinez: +180
  • Bobby Voelker: -125 vs. Lance Benoist: -105
  • Sergio Pettis: -550 vs. Yaotzin Meza: +375

There are negatives and positives here. While there are some very live underdogs here, all we know is that their opponents are pretty bad at MMA. So betting the dogs against Cummins and Tuck will be iffy. Danny Martinez has some value if you don’t believe Jorgensen has anything left in the tank and Yaotzin Meza is a capable bantamweight who could surprise Sergio Pettis.

Main Card Values:

  • Erik Perez: -130 vs. Bryan Caraway: Even
  • Piotr Hallmann: -170 vs. Yves Edwards: +140
  • Rafael dos Anjos: -300 vs. Jason High: +230
  • John Dodson: -500 vs. John Moraga: +375
  • Ross Pearson: -165 vs. Diego Sanchez: +135
  • Ben Henderson: -250 vs. Rustam Khabilov: +195

Underdogs aren’t really very appealing here, aside from one I’ll get to in a second and maybe Rustam Khabilov, as anyone who fights Benson Henderson as of late will get a shot at winning with the judges. Ross Pearson is free money here, especially considering how slow and sloppy Diego Sanchez is on the feet.

However, my two favorites here are probably Piotr Hallmann and Bryan Caraway. If Caraway gets it to the mat, his submission game is pretty strong and look for him to finish inside the distance potentially as a prop bet. Same for Hallmann, especially considering how Edwards has lost a step or two or twelve as of late

Final Thoughts:

Lots of potential on this card, but very risky in some aspects.

My Bets:

$20 on parlay of Pearson, Hallmann, and Voelker to win $71, $10 on Caraway to win $10.
