We Broke Up With Blogger, but We’re Not Ashamed

So as you all know by now, we have dropped Ms. Blogspot from our URL and joined a network worth all the finest meats and cheeses in the blogland. If you have stock options in Blogger, it’s safe to sell and purchase Bloguin cheap while you still can. This network is about to blow up as fast as Jimmy Traina’s inflatable Selma Hayek doll while he’s alone in his place watching the “Yankees” game.

Now, I’m not saying we’re upset with the way things went with Blogger. Blogger Blogspot was great to us. She took our blogging virginity and dealt with our crap for nearly three years. We just needed something a little more invigorating; something with a little more ‘amp’ to it. I guess this video sums it up best.

From here on out, you will not only receive the greatest posts about Detroit sports, but also stellar commentary on other happenings around the sports and pop culture world.  We’re not saying we’ll bring you breaking news first like we’re Walter Cronkite, but we are saying we’ll bring you the best analysis first because the best doesn’t happen until we bring it.  And by the power vested in us by Kirsten Dunst and Eliza Dushku, we bring it.

If you want the John Madden analysis without all the gurgling noises that will make Buster Olney pale in comparison, this is the perfect place for you.  If you want to tell us how awesome we are (or how terrible), then comment underneath our posts.  If you’d like to bring up something completely irrelevant to the post, start a thread in one of the forums.  If you want to eat that last brownie while watching re-runs of the Gilmore Girls, then by all means eat that last brownie while watching re-runs of the Gilmore Girls.

Lastly, when you leave our site, like four hours after you first came here, we aim for you to leave feeling re-energized and with your pants slightly tighter if you’re a male or slightly soaking if you’re a woman.  Thanks and enjoy the ride.  That’s what she said.
