Fort Worth based middleweight prospect Corey Washington has never had it easy when it comes to his boxing career. However, despite having to take fights on short notice, and most fighters unwilling to face him, Washington displays heart, tenacity, and a warrior mentality inside the ring. Having been on the sideline for a while due to injury, Washington is back and ready to make his mark on the boxing scene.
North Texas Fisticuffs caught up with the humble young fighter following a grueling workout that included 10 rounds of sparring with some of the region’s best boxers.
