The Oakland Raiders (0-6) are in Cleveland to take on the Browns (3-3). The Raiders are looking to be the second team in a row to upset the Browns despite a record of no wins.
The worst run offense in the league (Raiders at 32nd averaging 69.3 yards per game) looks to generate a threatening ground attack against the league’s worst run defense (Browns at 32nd giving up 155.5 yards per game).
Brian Hoyer looks to return to winning form after last weeks embarrassing 24-6 loss to the previously 0-6 Jacksonville Jaguars. Oakland quarterback Derek Carr looks like a potential playoff caliber quarterback in the making (1,185 yards, eight touchdowns, five interceptions).
Maurice Jones-Drew may get opportunities to revive the Raiders running game. Darren McFadden has 73 carries for 279 yards and two touchdowns.
The Browns need success from their running game and offensive line. Ben Tate struggled last week. Isaiah “the crow” Crowell and Terrance West did generate many rushing yards either. Joe Thomas, John Greco, and the rest of the offensive line must give Hoyer more time to throw or the Browns will suffer the same fate as they did in Jacksonville.
