On the Menu, parmesan garlic spaghetti

IMAG0172I actually made this several days ago, but forgot to post it immediately. My apologies for not posting it.

I always feel a little more fancy when I make a sauce that isn’t a tomato base, like this. Essentially, it started with olive oil, and I cooked some oregano and garlic in the oil to infuse a bit of flavor. When that was done, I chopped some parsley and threw that in, and tossed the wheat noodles in the garlic sauce. The Parmesan came when I dumped a handful of grated cheese into the still warm pasta.

The sauce wasn’t quite garlicky enough for my liking and was instead a hair oily. Nevertheless, it wasn’t an overwhelming flavor, so the bread, salad and noodles made for a fairly tasty little meal.
