I feel like I have to say this way too often, but one win doesn’t prove much. Everyone wins a game every once in a while, even the worst teams. It’s got to happen more often than once a week for it to mean something. So here are the Pirates with one win in their last one game, and three wins in their last 21. The only way to erase that is to win more than once. A good place to start would be by actually putting some runs up on the board. The Pirates haven’t done that in quite some time.
Tonight’s first pitch from Jeff Karstens is at 8:05 (two night games in a row at Wrigley?!?). Ted Lilly goes for the Cubs. Clemente/Cangelosi is after the jump.

Last night was a good night for the Pirates on the field, but not a great night in the standings as people swapped both the Clemente (Maholm, of course) and the Cangelosi (the formerly red-hot Lastings Milledge) quite a bit for a big slew of negative points. No one got either of them right, either. In fact, the only positive points came from one Jose Tabata Clemente pick, since his huge eighth inning double was just enough to slide him into second place ahead of Octavio Dotel.
